Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's parents have postponed their long-anticipated meeting as Taylor shifts her schedule.

The popstar will miss the Chiefs vs. Eagles game due to a Rio de Janeiro concert rescheduled for safety reasons.

This alters the plan for a family gathering, with Taylor absent and Travis engaged on the football field.

The initial intention was for both families to convene during the Chiefs vs. Eagles game in Kansas City.

Sources suggest the meeting cancellation was a pragmatic decision given Taylor's unavailability and Travis's game commitments.

Last week's plan hinted at a joint gathering of Andrea and Scott Swift with Donna and Ed Kelce.

The flexible nature of Taylor's schedule, prone to changes, may have contributed to the lack of concrete plans.

The family reunion would have been timely, coinciding with a Super Bowl rematch between Travis's Chiefs and his brother Jason Kelce's Eagles.

Taylor's allegiance to the Eagles, her former favorite team, might have been a topic of discussion during the family meet-up.

With the current plans on hold, the families anticipate a future reunion, possibly during the upcoming holiday season.
